This Menj bugger is a lunatic who is crying blood over religious freedom.

His threat will only degrade Islam further.

adam - it's actually pretty scary, to be honest. When rationality is thrown out the window and the sanctity of life disregarded. To have bloody murder so easily uttered... scary.

mob1900 - heh, who knows? The funny thing is that he really thinks he's doing Islam a favor. Really delusional this boy is.

anonymous - absolutely. No argument there.

CULT: The formal means of expressing religious reverence; religious ceremony and ritual.

I was under the assumption that all the organized religions were *REALLY BIG CULTS*.

anonymous #2 - He's just showing the dark side of fervor and literalism, and totally out of touch with reality.

panda death cult - going by that definition, all organized religions certainly are.

taintedcell - Not by choice, I don't think. Apparently, his blog kinda imploded, and he's temporarily at one of his other sites (and he's got quite a few)until he can get Critical Thoughts sorted out (see here).

It was a simple question. You have time to post all the crap you want about Islam, but you cannot answer a simple question about your own beliefs?

Jesus has fullfilled it (the only one who could) - and given us the new law and when following the same it automatically contains the law of moses, - talking about the ten commandments and not the law of society that time.

But that is something you don't understand, right?

But that does not make any sense. You are telling me that after 33 years of living under Jewish law and confining himself to the customs of his own people (Jesus (P) is, after all, a Jew), he decided to abolish his whole people's customs when he began his ministry and forget all those laws derived from Mosaic law which were formulated by his own people?

The laws were designed to be fullfilled by him. It was God's plan all along. We don't do sacrifices anymore because he was the final and perfect sacrifice. All the cleansing rituals are done because Christ has made us perfectly clean. The rituals were designed so that people would recognize the messiah. Those who didn't realize what the rituals were all about are still doing them.

If someone told you to wash your car every day until they come and when they came they made it impossible for your car to get dirty would you still keep washing it?

Christ lived under the law so that he could be perfect for us. I highly recommend reading the New Testament. It explains all of it.

As the Bible says, for those who perish it's foolishness. To those of us who are saved it makes perfect sense.

Unfortunatly ignoring people just allows their stupid to go unchallenged. What we really need is a "mute" button.

And was this taught by Christ?

Since much of it is Paul's words, there is little to be gained from it.

I think I agree. Its obvious that the Christians do not want to answer the question, preferring to sidetrack instead. We will raise the issue at another time.
