Just ended writing a blog post on why I think American Idol is rigged. Curious what you all think. Has to deal with them registering their domain names. http://www.aaronnimocks.com/proof-american-idol-is-rigged.html
I don't watch manufactured idle...I mean whatever it's called but did you check other idull hopefuls for domain registrations? I'd say they can narrow it down and probably register a batch of them. Sorry for messing with the name, but the only "reality" show I like is The Contender since it has some real reality in it. My daughters had a rerun of Idol on and honestly even the better contestants would be the third or fourth best singer at most modern churches I've been to.
Chances are that AI makes the contestants buy it, or buys it for them...there is no legal way that I can think of that AI could actually keep the site if they win...however, having all the sites point back to theirs keeps them from having to deal with potentially nasty PR...
AI just got traded to the Nuggets and is 2-0 with Melo back in the line up. I am sure he didn't buy some Star Search 2.0 domain names and why would he make some amatuer singers to get a web domain?
After seeing a few of the stunts they have pulled for ratings I wouldnt be surprized. I however don't think it makes the show bad because when it comes down to it its there for entertainment and it provides that pretty well.
Hm, that's very interesting...Great observation! If Sundance does indeed win, then we'll know for sure.
I won't be surprise if they own a domain that deals w/ every american idol top tener. i thought only the auditions weren't live, but everything else was. :S
Actually I learned that the auditions were in the fall time. When they go to hollywood and do that part of the auditions its in Nov-Dec. So I was wrong. Also I learned from a spoiler site that American Idol registers the dot com of everyone in the top 40. Which would happen around the time his domain was registered. So I was wrong, kind of.
yes... your info is correct. Think about how much trouble they would get in if they did fix the contest. BTW... Chris Sligh is the favorite to win in VEGAS. source: BetChris.com
I do think that the initial evaluators, when auditioning the entrants have a quota of bad / good singers. Think about it, if the tv show featured good singers only, there would not be much interest, as viewers love watching tragic wannabe singers ;-p ... Still, I thought Marisa was given a raw deal, even though, she's a bit emo.
Interesting sorry, but also I think American Idol might be buying all the domains of there top contestants... Don't know.... Did you check on the other ones when there domains were bought?
