Hey, Now, I know that I can speak good English and I pay close attention to grammar ( no commas before 'that', commas before 'and', periods before the close of quotation marks). But what is American grammar? One of my clients had a problem with what I had written, even though I could still not see what was wrong with it. I do not think I can post up his article here. But what do you guys think?

See the difference between my version and yours? Writing does not have to be perfect. Only a snob would think otherwise. I'm a copywriter, and there have been times when I would look back at my work and cringe a little after noticing an error or two. Hell, even many well-known writers make mistakes, including editors, but...from what I read just from your post, you need to take an English course.
I agree with you Perry Rose, It's not on how you write the sentence but on how the way you construct it correctly.
Presumably you mean:- It's not how you write the sentence but how you construct it. Or as Perry would say:- Sentence how the construct, struct them sentence sentence construct. BEER. Sentence constrict.
