American forces free Canadian hostages; Canadians immediately blame America

Hangers on? Media attention? Yeah - I'm sure they risk getting the shit blown out of them in order to make sure mummy and daddy back in Yorkshire or Toronto see them on the tele for their 15 seconds.

I think like most soldiers, they want to make it back home to their families. And like most, they do what is asked of them. Whether you agree or disagree with this action, all of them - all of them losing their lives, or risking their lives - deserve better than this flippant, skewed and asinine worldview.

I take no issue with Canadians. If I did, my posts would resemble gworld's constant attacks on the US, but using Canada instead. But hey, it worked for Johnny Cochran, it's always worth a try

It is understandable. Canadian culture is very different than Americans and we do not have as much tolerance for hateful little bigots like little willy, so Canadians in general dislike his kind and he hates Canadian in return.
