The final outcome for BP’s stock price and the company’s ability to remain a viable going concern is still greatly in question. The oil spill’s long-term economic impact is impossible to calculate in financial terms presently. Until it has ended and accurate estimates of the outstanding liabilities can be determined the stock price should continue to decline without a bottom in sight.
