It really annoys me when someone says that everyone in a certain group or everyone from a certain place are stupid. Everyone is not the same! This is called stereotyping and it in and of itself is stupid. While I would quickly agree that there are a lot of stupid Americans there are also a lot of stupid people in any other country. At the same time there are also a lot of very good people in every country.

No, actually I don't like America much. I'd rather prefer Australia, Canada, New Zealand or Europe. I don't know why people call it "America". America is the whole continent. I am American because I live in America.
I feel that Melbourne is a bit too quiet, it helps to go once in a while to Hong Kong or Singapore which is only 8 hours of flight away.

No, I have no business hating America or its people. I love 24 and their movies. I just think that calling the Americans or America stupid is way too mean, although I think some of my countrymen are, too, not just the leaders. Any culture or country has its own merits and demerits and that includes where we came from.
New Zealand actually has positive net migration. I think Australia and New Zealand are two of the best countries to live in although Australia has warmer weather which I prefer. The downside for Australia is its much more socialist and bureaucratic than New Zealand. Australia also has three times as much external debt per person than New Zealand.

I would never want to immigrate to USA, with all the technology and money, it is attractive but its Patriot Act, Fox News and a moron leading them to nowhere are the downsides.I would not even want to be a part of its high tax paying population.
