I've always been with an Intel as not many machines come with AMD, so I will just stick with them.

The thing about AMD is that they should be supported as competition is healthy, without any competition from AMD we would be in a similar situation as in the online auction market, total domination by one company, too much power, a healthy balance needs to exist.

I prefer AMD, it is easy to modify, overclock, or whatever you want to do with it. I use AMD for gaming. I use Intel xoen in my servers. Both are good, but for different things.

I had a couple of Pentiums back in the day, but since buying my first AMD chip (a K6), I've never looked back. I'm happy to support AMD simply because they're not Intel.

    Is that a Chinese Ferrari?

I have been using AMD and Intel in the past. Don't see any major different in term of performance except the price of the CPU itself.

But for a laptop, I still stick with Intel. Maybe it just because Centrino sound much better than Turion. :D

Back in the day AMD was the best. It was cheaper and faster than Intel.... Nowadays they have lost their edge. I would unfortunately go with Intel.

    AMd for Gaming
    Intel for Working
that's the way it should go. But I hope AMD could come back to compete with Intel again soon orelse it will be boring.
