Amazon's Advertising API and the 1 request per second limit

    Am I doing something wrong, or is it correct that each product counts as a separate request, meaning if I want to show 10 products on one page, the page takes 10 seconds to load (before it gets cached)? Because it seems this is what's happening for me. Then how do sites like ThisIsWhyImBroke display so many products at once, do they just not use the API?
