Why would anyone use Amazon when there's Ebay ? Longer cookie, $25 for new registrations (which make up for a huge part of my commissions)... Please discuss.
Apparently when the doctor slapped you at birth he slapped you a little too hard. The frequency is HiFiHiFi68: B-A-N. Just because you can't understand the question doesn't there's something wrong with it - you just need to think harder.
I'm more than willing to combine Amazon along with Ebay. In fact, it is what I intend to do when Ebay finally opens up their affiliate program in April. Apparently, they're moving it "in house."
I am curious enough about both to try out both of them, they bot have very good points Both yield decent conversion figures, such high public trust Amazon tools , for me, are not the equal of the Ebay tools, Ebay tools rock Aom has me scratching my head an thinking the unthinkable, invest in coding my own store The thought of harvesting all those asins though, thats frightning How are folk doing with aom here
i find amazon coverts better than ebay for me, but maby because my users cant be bothered to bid and just want to buy outright? im not sure, i use both though
My clickthru rate on visitors to aom stores(lite version) is appalling I am think of either buying the full licence or coding my own Amazon store Do you use the paid version, if i may ask
I am thinking about creating a store on Amazon. Would you say one (amazon vs. ebay) is easier to deal with than the other (in terms of time consumption, listing of products, handling transactions, etc.)?
If you find an automated solution, you don't really need to be working on any of that stuff, more of your time can be spent on SEO and making the shop "sticky" with other content, featured products, newsletters etc. etc. The script you use should pretty much handle all that stuff...
The 24 hour cookie is the lamest thing about Amazon. The commission is relatively weak too. So far I've seen 102 clicks and not 1 sale. I see about 200-300 clicks a day with Ebay and make $20 a day average. Will be able to see real performance of amazon after 1000+ clicks, though.
