This thread started in 2007. It's asking what the better affiliate service - ebay or Amazon. It's NOT asking which is the better medium to sell stuff through. Many respondants seem to think it's asking which is better to something through.

I have been using both - but ebay has the better cookie lengths and dont have other restrictions that Az does

Not sure what it is with Amazon that I can't master it... I much prefer Ebay and has been converting much better in my personal experience.

ebay is the best place for scammers to go to. Their seller protection policy is rubbish and actually protects you from nothing. Amazon is a better place for sellers to avoid fraud, though you shouldn't expect as much sales as they are on eBay there.

Yeah, i just registered at eBay. I have an affiliate account at Amazon too. After making my $1 credit card payment to eBay, they suspended my account. Lolz. And by the way, the credit card was mine so there shouldnt have been any identification issue. They said that the account is pending verification. Wow, there's no way i am going back to Ebay again. When i tried contacting them, i noticed that they didnt even have a Live Chat support.

You can earn money with both. I think it would be wise to promote both Amazon and eBay. perhaps mulitple sites per. That way you don't have all your eggs in one basket.

eBAY wins over Amazon without a doubt for a affiliate income. I put live listings for both on my sites and my income is 80% eBay - 20% Amazon. This is because eBay uses 7 day cookies.

Although Ebay offers wider choice, I prefer Amazon for its affiliate program.
