Amazon stealing my money

Hi everyone, this is kind of off tangent but I think this would be the best place to put this...

So I have been buying Amazon gift certificates from people. I got about $300 worth of Amazon gift certificates that are legit. Then comes someone who were selling them at 60%, who I later found to commit credit card frauds. Anyway I got about 1.5k of Amazon from him and bought a laptop with it. The laptop came, alright, but I decided to return it.

It took almost 2 months for Amazon to do anything about the refund. When they finally got to it, they closed my account because the gift certificates were illegitimate.

I know this might be partially my fault for buying Amazon gift certificates this cheap, but I have also had $300 worth of legitimate Amazon gift certificates. Amazon is refusing to open my account or give me any refund back. Suggestions?

    Thanks.

gee, bought fraudulent gift cert's and now blaming amazon? since the whole transaction was fraudulent, they'll kill it. shows you not to purchase gift cert's on the cheap. Buyer beware. Don't blame them. You bought a 1500 laptop and returned it thinking that you'd get cash instead and then wanted amazon to eat the transaction. Sorry... sounds 200% fraud and a BS post. Glad they did this.

Nah I just wanted to get the gift certificates back to buy other things.

Hey sorry I am noob, but they did benefited from this transaction. I was only asking for the legitimate gift certificates back.

The thing is, they don't know whether you're not the person cheating them with those fake certificates.

They won't waste time verifying you. Truth is, I won't either. That's why your account is shut down.

I just heard a story like this on our local news last night where this guy's Amazon account was totally closed and he was banned for life.
