Help with what? You have a trademarked name in your url, thats not allowed in the amazon.com program. No one can change the amazon guidelines!

Did you even have permission from the owner of the trademark to use their name in your url?

Don't you think you should have got that permission before you registered the domain name. They can easily demand that you hand the domain over to them if you do not have permission.

No they will not. Maybe something like "console-emulator.com", or 360emulator would be better. Same, you can't use any famous brand, products in your domain. I'm clueless.

Do that and they will not reject you.

Off course they will ban you. Tarum is talking nonense. If you put affiliate links on a site that does not comply with the guideliens, they will ban you when they detect it.

I think you have no idea what you are talking about. Yes, you can register with one website, then put amazon aff links on your xbox domain for virtually no fear of getting banned. There are thousands of websites with ipad, xbox, kindle, etc in the domain name that have amazon on them.

Good luck with that strategy. Amazon just has not yet detected those sites. If amazon.com guidelines say do not put affiliate links on a certian type of site, what do you expect to happen when Amazon find links on those sorts of sites? Go read the amazon.com guidelines.

I didn't understand fully what he meant. He sent a PM, we sorted it out. I thought he means that by using another site, he wouldn't be banned. I kind of missed the "use it on previous site too" after that. So ye, sorry.

    Dear Fdev,

I watch a training video from a internet guru which he shows us an amazon product which is selling hot in the market and in his domain include the brand name of the product. A question was asked nad he said that once you have the amazon aff link then it should be no problemo

...which is illegal unless you have permission of the holder of the brandname/trademark. They can simply demand that you hand over the domain name and you have no choice. Any hard work you put in will all be wasted. They can not be much of a guru if that is what they are recommending you do.

Well the email message says it all.

"As a result of this decision, you will no longer be able to access your Amazon Associates account."

That is why it is always a nice idea to go through TOS thoroughly. The least you can do is try to find other merchants for your Xbox emulator site and make sure you go through their TOS as well.

    Hey kashimahmood & Agent000,

Can you attach the email sent to you from Amazon and PM me. This would be a good topic for my Q & A live webinar with the internet guru. Thanks

Start a website with a different domain name and try to re-apply. That's your best bet. On the banned site, you can use Adsense ads if they'll allow you. You can also sign up for CJ and try affiliate ads from there.

I thought Amazon don't let you use their own TM. So if you have a TM in your web site like xBox or Gucci, you can't use these with Amazon ?

I guess I need to read their TOS again.
