It's to allow sufficient time for returns and shipping delays. Net 60 is a common payment schedule and something you should get used to if you want to work in this industry.
Amazon has always paid me on time, so I'd recommend you stick with them. Yes, it does take a couple months, but there's some programs where I've never gotten payment, because I haven't met the threshold. Amazon also has thresholds, but it just works better for me. Someone else provided you with Amazon's payment terms link, so be sure to read that if you have concerns.
The long payouts also allows you to predict your monthly income for months into the future. It's irritating when you get started, but it works out just fine once you're earning money from your Amazon Affiliate sites...
They are at least reliable. Some other commission places don't pay on time or at all!! There is also ways to fast-track payments
Try to contact them via feedback page, they will answer your question less than 24 hr. amazon customer service is one of the best out there
Ha Ha... Yes, they will answer within 24 hours with a template message, but there won't be any progress to get the payment. I am struggling to get my 300GBP for the last 4 months. Useless customer support............
Amazon's payment system is very complex and they have to deal with lot of issues before they can process and send out the payments to associates. It might be a big pain for us associates but they do have their own problems to deal with. Atleast they are not like google who will ditch you for no reason or season.
