Amazon Associates is a different system to Amazon the online store - that's why you have to register for Associates seperately. As far as I'm aware there is no way of being able to use your Associates earnings towards the cost of purchases. You'll just have to sit and wait until you reach the payout level.

Let's see if anyone else has an answer on this one.

The only option you have is get your Associates payment in an Amazon gift certificate then use the GC to purchase Amazon products.

To select your payment to come via a GC, log into Amazon Associates Central, click on "Your Account" in the upper-right corner, then "Change Your Payment Method".

    Good luck,
