If I sign up for an affiliate program with amazon and put a banner on my blog. And someone clicks on the banner to that certain book, just say, how long do they have to buy it so that I get commission?

Is it 1 day? 1 week? few hours? first click? Let me know.

    It's 24 hours.

Suppose some one clicks the banner on your website and buy some books, PS3 console and some games. You'll receive commission on all those sales. But, it has to happen within 24 hours.

Unless they place it in their shopping basket which is 60 days I think. Can anyone confirm?

It is 90 days if they place the product in their basket. If you use a store script that uses the Remote Shopping Cart, the products are added to the basket when the user is redirected to Amazon. This is the best way to expand the cookie length on Amazon.
