Amazon on my site?

Discussion in 'Amazon' started by Dan Kenitz, May 2, 2006.

I've been working on my site, a political and anything-talk forum, www.bipolarnation.com, and my VP of Marketing told me that I should consider Amazon referalls. What do you think, and does this violate adsense?

Again, the address of my site:

Adsense only complains about contextual ads.

Amazon requires you to ask for ads by a specific search term - which may vary but wouldn't be contextual, exactly.

    I think you'd be fine.

Thanks. Do you recommend Amazon - or is it for high traffic sites only?

P.S. I am WELL aware that I'm retarded.

if you are intrested in going for amazon, prefer to keep both the adsense and amazon on seperste pages. can't stick them on a same page.

    Says who?

Google don't mind other ads so long as they are programmed and not contextual.

I never seen telling we can't use Amazon in the same page as adsense.
    As a matter of fact I did....here in a previous post :D

I'm using adsense and amazon in my website with no trouble at all.

Google and Amazon work great on the same page. I've got an amazon shop over at awswebshop.com and it also displays yahoo ypn and google adsense. Google helps, because if it's showing a related product, a user might click thru to see if they are getting the better deals.

I'd say run the amazon associates program, you'd be able to sell books related to politics. It's targeted to your audience.
