amazon on blogspot.com

I recently activated amazon on blogger.com - They offer you widgets that can be set up. But it is not so good looking since the iframe's background doesn't match the blog background unless it is whites.

If one makes a posting one can include a link, image or a combination of those. What is the correct/best way to do that? The referal seems to be the associate name that I have attributed to the blog.

They only recently added that widget. Hopefully they will give you more background color options soon.

I hope so as well. I do also like to integrate books/amazon products into postings this already works well.

Does anyone already have experience with selling amazon products via blogspot?

No experience with it yet, but you could easily add text links until it gets better.

I'm placing text and image links now, as this looks more aesthetically pleasant. Later I consider even to place reviews or discussions of the book and the direct the links first to one single page, that I'm using to sell this specific book/product.

You can customize thier widgets for your astore. Unless you mean the product search bar, for that I don't see any way to customize it.

... I think in the future I will just place a little review as a blog post and then link to the site I'm having the store on. Then it's just the general amazon widgets or astore to be used. I'm still a newby to Amazon and will have to look in the future on how I'm going to do things there.

I use anchor text linking, so it doesn't make any difference.

This new Amazon product finder in Blogspot is great. You can add all 3 kinds of affiliate links without a hassle now. Also it warps the text around amazon ad which makes your content look better.

    I have to agree.
To make amazon product blog posts is quite convenient right now.

There is only one thing concerning me for a while. If I place amazon adverts on my blog, doesn't that take subtract from the power of the other backlinks on that blog.

You can go into Amazon Affiliates's website and in their widgets section you can view all the normal ones. Then just add an HTML area to your blog, and insert the code there.

Technical this should be possible, but is it in line with rules?

What I'm considering as well to place the link in my amazon adds to my bookshop page on a specific web site from where the links to the amazon pages will go. There the user can also make educated choices, since there will be books on the same subject.
