Amazon news...from 2007 payments will be monthly, checl fees increase to $15

    They claim they will offer the ability to hold payment in the future. But they claim alot that never happens.

    Actually it just happened :)

    You can now choose your own minimum treshold for being paid by check! I just noticed it by accident - I don't know why they didn't mention it to us associates.. :confused:

    Like what exactly? It typically takes two more quarters than they say but it usually launches. Changing the payment schedule isn't a big deal - I was part of the beta test for it last year. Amazon is hoping by paying affiliates more quickly they will see a more direct correlation between actions to improve affiliate sales and payment.

    It is (the announce) posted on you associates page now, which I think is normal for Amazon - announcements to associates are always one or two days later than the actual implementation.
