    Hi guys,

I started IM at the end of February and three months later, I have made well over $1000 as a Clickbank affiliate.

Having heard so many positive stories about Amazon, I have decided to give it a go and see how it works out for me.
Am positive i will succeed because I "Take Action" and implement all am taught.

My problem at the moment is that having gone through this forum am a little confused as to where I should start and how to go about this Amazon. Could you please give me hints.

    Thanks for the help.
    Dennis

i am not sure if you can earn as much as like Clickbank.
the product of Clickbank is ebook, Amazon is an actual product, so it's completely different.

Hi zenji, I have a number of sites with a few of them dedicated to Amazon, at one time they were doing relatively well, but not so well now, so I have moved a number of them over to Clickbank and they are doing well. (very well) At this time I would not move them back to Amazon, the ones I still use, what I would call my Amazon sites are doing ok but not as well as the sites I moved over to clickbank. All this said and done no point in moving everything into one basket so to speak you need to keep an open mind.
Good luck with whatever you decide!

I should also have mentioned that commisions are not that good at Amazon but I suppose it all depends on the niche(s) you are in.

Commissions are between 4% - 8.5%. But I don't think its bad because those are real products unlike Digital products which doesn't have shipping costs. But Amazon works mainly if you have niche site with lot of faithful visitors. Forget those Astores. Those are useless.

My advice is to create a good quality site providing information about the products, how they work, reviews, guides etc. Offer information that people will want to read.

There are two ways to do this:

    1) Create a blog. Review products, add articles, add pictures. Use wordpress.
    2) Create a store. Add products, organise categories, add product info, reviews. Add articles etc. See my signature for a script.

I prefer option two as it is quicker, easier and you get higher conversions (but of course I am biased!). Whichever way you do it, just make sure it is a brilliant website - as good as you can make it. Offer great quality content and don't rush it.

Avoid the "get rich quick" plugins and scripts like Associate-O-Matic, Reviewazon etc. as they do not produce usefult sites and will get penalised in Google.
