Does anyone make money with Amazon's Music affiliate program? How is it converting from paid traffic? I'll appreciate for any useful articles/links.
The problem with the mp3's is that even though you will make 10% commissions, mp3's only sell for about a dollar or less a piece, so even if someone came and bought 100 songs off your site (which I doubt anyone is selling that much music), then you'd only have made $10, which is very poor for 100 products sold. My advise would be to look at a niche that will pay better. That's not to say that you can't sell mp3s, which would help your total items sold and move you to the next higher paying commission bracket, but what I am saying is that solely mp3s won't cut it. Hope this response helps. Happy Selling, PuReWebDev
Yes, mp3 never struck me as a potential great earner. But then, maybe there's a niche there - a comprehensive Amazon-powered mp3 download site where you go for volume, rather than a smaller number of high-priced items. And you could always sell ipods and all that stuff off the back of it. Or maybe not...
I sell these a lot but it is really just a waste of time unless you are just hoping they buy other stuff along with the mp3. Most people who buy mp3's from amazon also get other things so it is not to bad.
