Amazon moving into webhosting market

    Had the following email this morning - looks interesting.

    Basically, they create "virtual servers" on their network allowing you to ramp up and down capacity as needed.

    Could be quite good for newly launched websites where you are not totally sure of the server capacity needed, as you can increase "server specs" on the virtual machine in minutes - rather than spend hours adding another box to a load ballancer.

    What I believed the service was for developers to test out file and place files Sort of like an online hard drive. Not sure what type features you'll get.
