I've been doing jobs on Amazon Mechanical Turk over the last week after reading about it on Crystal's nethustlin blog and so far have been met with low approval rate of my HITs. I have submitted 12 with good quality work and only two were accepted. Has anyone else had low success with getting paid for their work on there? Let me know about your experiences with this service.
That definitely looks interesting. I think I'll give it a try and report back, if there's any interest in it still. The prices are a little low, but the system seems to favor the user. What kind of jobs were you taking?
I was taking the TV episode ones and the audio transcription ones. What irks me is that people aren't very prompt in responding once you complete a job. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
That's not good. I figured that it would be good, since I buy a lot off of amazon and already have an seller's account set up. I'll give it a shot though, I would hope that they treat their people better than that. It is a really cool system though.
It's been picking up. I work on HITS when I'm bored and have a few minutes of spare time. Here are my stats as of this morning; $2.51 earned so far.
