Could it be that the Kindle Fire would be a competitor to the iPad and Playbook? How we looked at it with the possibility of a cheaper price from competitors and the benefits to be obtained.

    Please give your best opinion.

amazon is wasting time and resources competing with iPad. Kindle fire does not stand close to the best tech Gadget ever. iPad rocks

If you want to read eBooks but want the power of a laptop without the size just by an iPad I say. It just makes more sense a better quality product.

I think it is great that amazon is trying to compete with Apple. Competition breeds innovation. If no one competed with Apple (even though they really have no competition) then there would be no advancement, I think.

The Kindle Fire though is pretty cheap. Some people just don't want to be part of the Apple brand and are obsessed with Amazon. This is where brand loyalty factors in :)

I think Kindle stinks too. Just splurge and get an ipad because it really is so much better. If you want an awesome cheap e-reader, just get the first generation nook. It is awesome and reads just like paper so it doesn't hurt your eyes.

I don't think that kindle fire even tries to compete with iPad, it competes with Nook. And the reason they issued the Fire is to seel amazon content easily on a very cheap device. And it does just fine to read book and buy content directly from amazon:) Come on you can't even compare Fire with iPad.

i prefer amazon kindle just as a reader and it's perfect in that way. Amazon Kindle Touch is indispensable, 'cause it's convenient for reading, may be useful to access internet if i need it urgent. BUT! Kindle Fire is smth which I can't understand. It has worse features in everything except the price. I don't mean that they have no right for existence, but Kindle Fire is smth from the other category to compare!

Yeah i honestly dont know why people would even buy a kindle, I guess their marketing strat is to sell it to people who stricktly just want to read books, but for the same price you can get an ipad which is an all in one... i wouldnt waste my money on a kindle, im actually going to wait untill the ipad 3 comes out (or what ever they decide to name it lol)
