Sometimes the obvious is exaxtly the answer but its so obvious we miss it. Do you think you would have had the success without ppc? In other words if you dont have a high traffic count anyway. i was thinking about helping my daughter set up an amazon book store/movies, dvds, games etc. I was wondeirng how much promotion it would take to get the ball rolling.
^^^ Thank you all for the respones I think PPC can help anyone grow their business. If you look in the organic SERPs you will at times have a hard time finding e-commerce sites that sell what you want. This has been the rule for years and as such taught the average consumer that paid ads (PPC Ads) are the way to go. If you think about organic SERPs we often find Wikipedia About.com Yahoo Answers Blogs Forums Websites that are content heavy but do not sell any products. Where as if you click a paid ad on the top or right side you will often land on a site selling what you want. So PPC done right can drive sales much better than SEO. It is also immediate and as such you can earn money now. With Amazon as your partner you will also need to build a site that has the Amazon items along with content for the SEO side if you wish to drive organic traffic. This is more of a long term investment that won't help put money in your pocket this week but should in a few months.
wow, that's a brilliant advice my friend. Will let you know about the progress after i use this small research.
I am glad this is helping others.... Another tip is to be sure to sign up for Amazons newsletters and to market those products in their newsletters as well..... Some new hot movers are Britax Baby Car Seats... and Kindle2 wireless reader.
Both! I have a mall store that sells everything Amazon sells and 20+ other niche sites selling certain niche specific products. One sells Kindles and everything for the Kindle for example.....
Thanks ..although I 'm poor in english .. i couldn't undstand what did you say nearly! i want to study well....
Semi - so do you just write up some content about that specific item and add it to your blog? I actually thought of doing something like this - not this but like this and my concerns were I would never get it listed/ranked in the search engines before it was out dated - thoughts please? PS: example of my question - Say Valentines Day - so 1 week before it I update my blog all about V-day and add my affiliate links and so on.... well before that subject will be listed in the SE, V-day is over..... right?
Just a quick note the help with this tip, There are sites out there that allow you to search for flyers by geographical area. This might be of use to those who do not have the paper copy available.
