Now Amazon says all of their European programmes will be governed by the same Operating Agreement. But still do we need to register in these 3 Amazon programs or one registration for all 3 ? Also it says what we earn from each product is limited to a maximum of £7.00/€10,00. Their article about this, .
So if we sell a product for £200 we only get £7 no matter what? Im from the UK and have a uk associate account.
Yes. Even if you sell a Plasma TV which is $3000 till you get £7 max. Now It's same for Amazon.fr and Amazon.de.
The fact that they are making an EU programme is excellent news..though I wonder what language will it be in. and yes the max commission cap is CRAP!!
They have just started using a common agreement for all 3 sites that's it nothing more. Except now they have £7 commission cap for other 2 sites too. It's 10 Euro for Amazon.fr and Amazon.de.
That's ashame. Is the any point in promoting amazon then? or even high price products? Has amazon associate program become totally worthless?
If I'm promoting all three, I will get the revenues for each of them separately right? Is it possible I an get it all channeled through one program?
Something is misunderstood here. The full description is : Amazon FR : The Limitation on Advertising Fees of €10.00 does not apply to Qualifying Purchases of Products from the following Categories : Books, Music, Amazon MP3 Products, DVD, Toys Amazon DE: The Limitation on Advertising Fees of €10.00 does not apply to Qualifying Purchases of Products from the following Categories : Books, Music, DVD
hi What do people think of the new requirements in the amazon UK to re register your site and have amazon check them out for example I have two sites which are being re classified as blogs its appently to allow third party advertising a bit like adsense .The point above about limiting commission to only $7.00 dollars regardless of the value of the product just makes no commercial sense and would soon have associates dumping amazon for clickbank etc regards peter mcgrath
