Amazon domain strength spanks all

    In my niche Amazon has suddenly become an all-powerful SERPs monster.

    Whatever terms I type in, they come 1st and with no back links.

    Now, I'm running a 5 year old site with PR6, thousands of strong quality links and even then, I'm having a hard time getting Amazon off the top spot -not without having to spend around £1,000 per search term.

    Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a quicker and more cost effective way to get them off the top spot?

    I would suggest you to get links from some other branding websites and blogs in your niche

    Are you refering to organic ranking or adwords ?

    Otherwise , perhaps your links are not doing for you what Amazons reputation is doing for it

    Start a wikipedia.org page with your keywords and then link build to the wiki page, which will link to you.
