Amazon close mt account of affiliate program I earned 1700$ in two weeks, and send for me e mail: While reviewing your account, we found that you are redistributing our content on third party Web sites in order to drive traffic to Amazon.com through your Associate tagged links. Associates aren't permitted to redistribute any Amazon content or link to Amazon from any site which isn't "your site"?? I LIKE TO POST IN FORUM AND EASY TO EARN NO WAY TO CONTINUE SAME???HLEP ME
I promote in slickdeals.net you just post in hot deals forum and wrote direct to amazon including my associated ID just
There is the problem - you can't hijack someone elses site and put your links on according to their terms and conditions. But I am suprised slickdeals.net let you do this because it is a missed revenue opportunity for them.
of course google will ban you if you use someone else website to promote your associates links...... nothing you can do...I've this problem before....
i'm afraid once amazon close your account, there's no way they will pay your commission. and i just check slickdeals' rule, you can't post any referral link in their forum. i also saw there's a post by Amazon's customer service there. maybe he/she saw your thread and report it, that's why your account got closed.
what percentage of the earnings is from SD? If not 100%, you can tell Amazon that you have no idea who posted the links with your tagged ID on SD. This may help get your account back alive.
Well they must have taken you as spamming. I wonder if someone reported about this to Amazon. Anyway I don't think there is a way to get money. Amazon support is not so great.
Same sort of thing kinda happened to me with google adsense. Sorry you gotta find a new program to use.
Looks like Amazon is on an account closing rampage - they also closed my friends account this week without any reason. He's still waiting for response after several emails.
All this is interesting when you consider the recent changes to the API. I think they are trying to clean up and get rid of the autoblog, autosite and low value ways of marketing amazon.
In this case the TOS was clearly broken, but I've heard of several who have lost their accounts too, without them understanding why. I hope they are done with their ban whip for this time.
You should at least try to get your account back, you may not get your earnings back but at least you would still have an Amazon account. Just hold yourself accountable for your mistakes and be honest with them. You never know it may be a starting point of actually getting your payday as well (although I wouldn't hold my breath on that one). However I feel you could get your account back, keep us updated and best of luck!
