amazon astore - what should i do?

I have affiliate account on amazon and my account will approved last week. I created a store http://astore.amazon.com/httpforumssfi-20 but I heared that I should set up a website for store. Is it necessary or not?

Can i promote the online store? will it be useful otherwise i should make a website for amazon store. if yes then where can i get free web store script that help me to make web fast like oscommerce and zencart.

 

While I will not say it is impossible to make money with just promoting your astore and not having a website, blog, squidoo lens or other site to promote having them does make it much much easier.

He has some great advice on how to make money with amazon. While not the only way blogs with text links to amazon products are a great way to make money with amazon.

You can get free blogs at wordpress, and blogger to name a few. Then it is just a matter of providing quality content with links to your astore or amazon.

Once you get the hang of the free blogs, driving traffic to them and making a little money then moving to your own website would make sense. I think it just make more sense to start with free resources while learning the basics. You can do a lot for free with wordpress, blogger, squidoo, twitter, etc... in fact you may never even need to own a website.
