If you are running an Astore-based website you know it's quite hard to get traffic moving your way. I would like set up a little link-swapping scheme with anyone who has a themed or niche Astore and feels that they would benefit more than they might lose from sharing links with other themed Astores. The way I figure it, if they are not directly competing then you probably have more to gain. The basic principles: 1) Pagerank don't come into it (mine sucks, let me tell you right off), just about getting the traffic circulating. 2) If you feel our sites don't compete then it should be worth a stray visitor or two. My Astore at www.ItsGottaBeRed.com offers red digital cameras, red mp3 players and red PC accessories. Basically, if it ain't red, I'm not bothered about it, so will happily link to a site selling BLUE digital cameras, for example! 3) Put the link on any page you want (doesn't have to be a major, or high PR page, but make sure the rest of your site is navigable from it, it's in your interest!) - I have a special page set up at http://www.itsgottabered.com/store/themed-Astores - no guarantees about the level of traffic! And it's first on, first up 4) Agree to keep the link up there for, say, 3 months - after that it's up to you if you want to keep them there, we're on our own!
