    Question about Amazon --

If a visitor clicks your amazon associates product link on your website, and ends up buying a DIFFERENT product through amazon, does the assoicate still get credit for the sale?

Example: Let's say I post an associate link to "Harry Potter - Hardcover Edition". The visitor follows the link and ends up buying "Harry Potter - Paperback" instead, do I still get credit for the sale?

Or, let's say a user follows my Harry Potter link... then gets distracted and buys a digital camera instead. Do I get credit?

    Thanks for any replies.

Thanks for the replies... yes, I agree 24 cookie life is too short for an affiliate program. The REAL cookies on my kitchen counter top stay fresh longer than that.
