I just read the thread about how so many people are fed up with Amazon. I was too and dropped them ages ago. See "I give up w/ amazon" - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=245617 Now, I have my own "Amazon Alternative" with an affiliate program. Yes, I am much, much smaller, but I pay 20%, and I am hooked up with a much larger network that continues to supply me with more and more titles. It is called CoverToCoverAudio, and I have 1000's of audio titles. There is no club to join and the customer does not have to downlaod any special software to take advantage of these books. They can be listened to on the computer, CD, iPod, etc. I supply text and banner links in addition to Content Links and "Sell Direct" Links. With Sell Direct links, it looks like all the action is right on your website, and the customer never even knows they have left your website to make a purchase. There are audio titles you can use for just about any niche, or sell them to any niche...or just market to the general public. The audio books industry was a 65 million dollar industry last year, and is growing very rapidly. The largest audio book company took in 8.5 million of that pot last year, so there is plenty of room to make money. If you are interested, you can visit the site at CoverToCoverAudio. The affiliate page is CoverToCoverAudio Affiliate Program. If you have any questions, you can email me at or PM me. Thanks for your consideration. Jim Please note: This post was originally put in the Amazon Forum in the Affiliate Section of this Forum. It is totally out of place in this general affiliate forum. It received an infraction because "Thread Started In Wrong Category" and was moved here by the Admin or a Mod. (Can't tell since there is no name involved when you receive an infraction.) Well, I certainly thought it was pertinent to Amazon and all the people complaining about it. And, the description of the Affiliate forum says: "Offers from affiliate programs are allowed as long as the user making the offer is an active member of this forum." It says nothing about the sub-affiliate forums being exempt from this. So, I am contesting the infraction publicly since there is no information about who levied the infraction or who to contact about an infraction.
