Amazon Affiliate

    I was hoping someone could answer this for me. The majority of the time I buy stuff on Amazon I use gift cards I've acquired.

    I was wondering if you're an affiliate if this matters. For example, if someone buys a $30 item through your link & pays all of it in gift cards, will you still get your commission?

    Yes, you do. Commission fees are based on the item sale price and not the method of payment.

    Yes you get the commission. But that person can't be your self. You are not allowed to buy things using your own affiliate links.
