Just getting started marketing with Amazon's Affiliate program, Wondering if anyone has had good success with it and what they do to market?
I figured it would most likely convert well. how do you market? do you autoblog? or manually post to it?
I've had poor results with it, nothing even close to the success I've had on eBay. The worst part about this program is that cookies only last one day - by far the most detrimental thing about them.
My results have been poor as well. I do much better with Clickbank products, Commission Junction, Linkshare, and of course Adsense.
I have tried clickbank but can never seem to get my any conversions or sales, dabbled in a bit of cpa, i have applied to the ebay aff. program and been denied, made about $5 with adsense in the past month. Thought i'd try out the amazon aff program since I already had an account and you can really narrow down into a product subniche.
It really depends on how you're using it and the market in which you present it. For North America, Amazon affiliates can do well. Many people have Amazon accounts. However, if you target a younger audience then they may not like Amazon (it's just an example, not a statement of fact). Try different options, use what works.
Amazon has stated a program you can have your own store. It is a blog plug in that you can target products based on your keywords. Review have said this is an effective, and prosperious plug in.
