The comissions rate are pretty low and they take net 60 to pay. I think there are better alternatives out there.

They pay so little, it's barely even worth it. Try to find an affiliate program directly related to your niche.

still. amazon has 140m visits a month, no other online store has so much visits except ebay, bestbuy with 15m, most people buy at amazon.

amazon api + your own inventory + ebay and other store prices for comparison purposes of 'your' inventory = win win

the reason i ask is because i know of people (real people) that bring in $4000+ a month from the amazon affiliate programme, I suppose it will depend on alot of things i.e traffick, niche and content etc

I have it on one of my sites - haven't made any sales. But, I sometimes recommend books and that's the only way I even stand a chance of earning a slight commission on one of them. So, I'm keeping it. But, I don't think it's the best program around. I don't know of another good one for books, except possibly Abesbooks.com - they offer better commissions and, of course, they have a great selection of OOP and antiquarian titles, but they are harder to get into.

I've tried it with Yahoo Answers. I posted my affiliate link on questions where people were looking for a certain product. I recorded about 5 sales of products I wasn't even promoting. That means people clicked on my link but ended up buying something else within 24 hours. I made about $8. Not worth it to me.

I am trying to figure out how to direct affiliates to my Click2sell merchant account.

Hmmm... But in the mean time, the first 5 who get my product get MRR.

    ONLY the first five...

    Now as for the affiliates....

    Check my signature anyways...

I think amazon payouts are low and now you can't direct link with PPC traffic. There's way better networks like the ones mentioned above.

I like Market Leverage, Azoogle and Hydra myself.
