I posted this thread here too. I would like help: I would like to be an Amazon affiliate. I would like to promote products to both people in the US and people in the UK. Of course, both of these countries have different currencies, so I am not sure what to do. I am in the UK so does that mean I need to open a UK affiliate account to get paid by direct deposit in the UK? How can I promote in US dollars to people in the US also? Does that mean I need a seperate account at Amazon.com to promote to people the the US? IF so, and its true that I need two accounts, one for each country, can I get paid in England via cheque at the US amazon? The whole system is really poor and confusing, and I am hoping you can help me out!
You need to join each amazon location (.com .uk .ca .fr .de etc) that you use, and each will pay you separate from each other.
Yes you can get payment by gift voucher (for use on the .com site) or cheque, both will be in US dollars. Direct bank deposit is not available from .com outside of the USA. https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/t3
You will be paid the currency that Amazon branch is in. In UK, you will get pounds. Promote where your readers are. Install an analytics program to find out.
