Awsome. congrats. That first check is always a great feeling no matter how much or little it is. It really is the meaning behind it. Making money online :) I think I might give amazon a go for rock climbing books.

Q1 wasn't that good to me, but still am looking foward the check which will normally arrive by the middle of this month (May).

I can only feel the real thing towards the end of June though, cause it takes another month or so for the international transaction to complete.

For that amount of transaction my local bank charges around USD3.50 in fees.

I'm getting my first 100 dollar check. Been with Amazon 3 years and this is the first payment I can remember. Glad we have better options now!

Anyone else get an 8.00 check processing fee? Since when does it cost 8.00 to write a check?

I believe that is their standard fee when selecting "Pay me by check"

NOTE: We will deduct an $8.00 processing fee from your referral fees for each check sent.

Not sure if it's an option for you or not, but "Pay me by direct deposit" is not subject to any fees and the minimum earings is just $10.00 for a payment.

Since Amazon sends me a check once every 3 years, it's not that big a deal. Still I don't remember that 8.00 thing. Then again I did sisgn up 3 years ago...

I think the $8 fee is just to discourage the use of checks. Even PayPal charges a fee if you want to pull money out of your acount via check.

Sign up to use direct deposit if you can.
