Amazing?

I've been surprised by ChaCha guides. OR those guides ROBOT or they are real people?

They will chat with you as a HUMAN. I don't believe they are robots.

What really they are? ROBOTS or HUMANS?

Sure. Its ChaCha.com.

Enter a keyword and then click "Search With Guide". And then you will see a GUIDE saying you "Welcome to ChaCha!" at the left. Ask him anything you like. Like:- "where can i get free logos?","what is PHPLD"... etc...

And he will answer you. Try it out and let me know if hes a HUMAN or ROBOT.

They are real. However some text is automatic, aka when they take ages it will say "Hold" ChaCha pays $5 a hour to some guides

Yes, they are real people. To become a guide you need an invitation, as they are still in Beta.

NO! its almost good for everyone. If you search then you cant find too much relevant results. But if you tell those guides they will give you some great results. Thats why i am surprised

 

Their business model is terrible. I can't see how they can succeed. If there are paying guides to guide every idiot that makes a search on the internet, what are they going to gain???

 

I just chat with the chacha guide, and I ask him or her "are you real or robot?"
and he or she told me "I am real"........so there you have it, they are real people.

 

Here we go.. i have a chacha guide invite but guess what? i'am not a US citizen
and i was lucky enough to get one so i don't want to just give away to any random person, any hints for me?

Interesting, but how are they going to make that pay without skewing search results to sites that may be sponsoring them?

 

I dont find it a very user firendly search engine. The mots important and annoying thing is that majority of results are sponsored and also mixed up!! So definetely you will click and ad!!

Thats the difference between mamas and papas serach engine and google. Those crapy ones the only thing they are thinking is how people will click on their ads and not how the user will find what he is looking for.

Regarding the guides. Again i think is useless after google why do you really need someone in India to find you what you are looking for!! For example I am looking for a hotel in London, there thousands how he know my taste etc et c.
