Hey gang. My name is Dan and I am the owner/creator of TreasureTrooper.com. We have been around for nearly 6 years and have, over that time, steadily evolved into the top, most intricate GPT site in the industry. Yes, I am biased... but we truly do have the most to offer. We have a decent sized following but seem to be stuck at that number for the past couple of years. I am looking for ideas to jump over this hurdle and take our site to the next level. I do feel that if more people knew it existed, they would love it... the trick is just in getting the word out and, perhaps, educating visitors more effectively?

I am very interested in your advice, critiques, or anything else that you feel would help me. We are also potentially interested in bringing on a full time marketing person to work and be generously compensated on a performance based system so if you believe you might have the drive for something like that, don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks for your time.

    1. Start placing banner ads on similar GPT sites.
    2. Conduct contests for your visitors.
    3. Offer incentives to current visitors for referring others.
    4. If you have not created a mailing list, do so now.
    5. Create a good quality, free GPT giveaway report.

I'm new to this site, but not new to marketing. Have you considered content marketing via articles relevant to the topic of your site? I usually suggest a linkwheel model, with only a few hub links (Hub pages, Squidoo lenses, etc.) linking directly to your site, then building the wheel by developing content, submitting it to article sites and backlinking to the hubs. After that, you can gradually build backlinks to the articles and bookmark them. It's a very effective method of building traffic for a long term plan.

Very interesting idea... would you be willing/interested in discussing firther via AIM? If so, I will PM you to get the ball rolling.

We have some pretty cool media that I'm trying to figure out how to share with the world as well. For example, this commercial that we created: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVD01THj3Uw

    And these comic strips: http://www.treasuretrooper.com/comics.html

With content this good, there's gotta be a way to drive traffic to them...

Make payments daily/weekly instead of monthly as that would bring in new members also add new offers daily not a few here and there

We do add offers daily, more so than any other site in fact

And the sites that pay out daily/weekly die very quickly in this industry as they encourage all the frauders looking for instant gratification to join up, get their money, and get out. We're in the business of delivering honest, real traffic to advertisers and this business model is the reason we have outlasted the hundreds of copycat websites that have popped up over the years.
