1. Find a strategic business partner. Look for ones
that have the same objective. You can trade leads,
share marketing info, sell package deals, etc.


2. Brand your name and business. You can easily
do this by just writing articles and submitting them
to e-zines or web sites for republishing.


3. Start an auction on your web site. The type of
auction could be related to the theme of your site.
You'll draw traffic from auctioneers and bidders.

Good for starters but it won't be enough

 

One of the best ways to jump start your sales is EMAIL MARKETING > Collect everybodys email that comes to your site.

 

Is email marketing what I call email spam?

 

Opt-in email marketing and spam is different thing. I don't recommend PTR, PTC as well. The best method is offering something unique and your clients will find you. It is just a matter of time.

Here is what really works (at least worked for me while I was selling through ecommerce site)

- running promotions/giving discounts
- using craisglist to target local customers - free tool
- using youtube and include discount codes into slide show - free tool
- using signatures on forums
- attending business network seminars to establish business contacts
- attending social events and spread a word about your business

ALL THESE METHODS ARE FREE AND THEY REALLY WORK, hope it will help somebody to boost sales
