Hi everybody, while searching in google search engine i have noticed one thing From "data recovery" keyword r-tt.com website coming top position in www.google.com SERPS,but during searching on google USA (through google toolbar)the r-tt.com site is not showing in top 100. what is the reason behind this i can't understand.. please try to solve my problems... sandy
Im preusming its got to do with the datacenter that the toolbar connects to? I cant find a Google USA in my toolbar? Would you be connecting to "www.google.as" American Samoa or something different? Not suggesting you are I had a look at http://www.mcdar.net/dance/index.php and the SERPS seem stable enough....
Local searchs give a higher weighting for local sites. The locality is defined by the TLD, the server location and the geographic location of linking sites.
Googles geo searches have been screwed since 30th Sept imo. I am also still seing major shifts in SERPS.
If geographic server location depends then what about stellarinfo.com(hosted in united states),on same keyword "data recovery". coming on 5 in google.com but in google usa not in top 70.
Like I said, there are other factors also sich as the geographic location of the links. Remember it's a weighing also, so it's still possible to rank well or badly in any local search.
