Do you guys think that it's too late to make the big money with affiliates/advertising? I mean, the internet probably has a billion sites online, could I still make big money?

    thanks

If all those billion sites were making money, there would be NO hunger ! NO Poverty !
So be a better one amongst THAT billion and make money.

So yes, you are never too early or too late to get in on this game.

    WELCOME ! :D

The competition has increased but I am sure if you stick at whatever it is you use etc to monetize with and constantly improve and learn you should be able to make something. I mean I bet out of those billions, majority give up pretty fast and let their pages/sites mothball. Its just that start when ya try to climb out of that pile to get noticed.

Nope you are not late.In fact you have got the perfect timing. With so many ways of making money and getting traffic you should UTILIZE those to your ADVANTAGE and RISE above others. They say if you can't beat them then join them. Here the OPPOSITE holds true.Anyways keep tweaking and learning different methodologies. If in doubt ask around or here in DP itself. The thing to remember is NEVER stop LEARNING.Kenny, I checked out your weight loss website.Very weighty NICHE indeed.:cool:You could be making a lucrative income with this market.Half your battle is already won.;)

The rules change, the game stays the same.

Now we're saying "well if 5 years ago I knew that I'd be a billionaire"

5 years from now you'll be saying the same thing.

So there's always a way to make money, you just have to find it. With the web constantly evolving, opportunities are everywhere.

I asked that exact question 5 years ago..

You aren't late. Bids are higher, *some* markets are too saturated to get into, and some small changes might add a little extra work (i.e., better LPs, better keyword research, no direct linking, etc) but it's never too late.

Stop asking questions like this, stop researching forums, and dedicate $500 to learn (lose) and begin just testing things out.

Sure you can join the game but just don't give up like most of people when they start to losing some $$ or see no ROI within couple of weeks.

It certainly depends on which market you plan on entering into. But overall, no, it is not too late. :)

I'm willing to throw around some money for the sake of experimentation. the problem with the youth today I believe is that they are too afraid to make that first step, too afraid to lose a couple of bucks. sure they will lose money, but they will gain experience. a quote that i love is

"The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark. "

I gotta find some steady traffic now. i submitted to social bookmarks, submitted to search engines, now i need to either have someone submit to directories or do them my self. any more ideas?

Yes, what great posts! And very inspiring coming from those who are already well involved in the online money making business. Makes me feel a lot more confident too - and of course, you NEVER know what'll happen until you've tried for yourself. Thanks all!

I'd say this is the perfect timing also as this market is growing rapidly.
