Am I seeing significant loss of referrals due to adsense?

I have an affiliate site that combines both referral links as well as Adsense. The site consistently makes referrals, and creates many Adsense clicks per day.

My concern is that I may be losing a lot of referrals when they click my Adsense ads. I guess I feel like they may be lost or distracted when they leave my pages.

Can anyone tell me from experience how much difference this makes and the potential benefits of removing the ads?

I would certainly value some input before actually removing my Adsense.

You can block the competitive ads from adsense.

Of course you lose them when they click AsSense ads they go to some other affiliate website. But if they don't go through your affiliate links you will not get anything if the AdSense ads are not there :) You must balance these 2 revenue sources. Put your affiliate links as the first option for your users. And of course you can block competitive ads as ahref wrote.
