    Someone slapped me an unfavorable comment in my profile saying that my avatar is ugly. (By the way, thanks to the tens who gave me greens. Two gold bars now.)

    I felt it was an unfair comment. I never criticized anyone here just because his or her avatar does not pass someone's discriminating taste.

    Kaung, for instance, has a rather cute avatar, but I never criticized him or gave him a bad reputation just because his avatar has a humorous, morbid look.

    Or should I criticize someone's avatar bearing the legacy of Ron Paul in America just because I belong to the Democrat or Republican or whatever party?

    My purpose in joining DP is to share knowledge and learn from other people's insights, people who have the same passion for the digital world.

    I did not join DP to scout who has the ugliest avatar around.

    Am I really ugly?

    Don't have to care about those red rep, I had also received a lot of red reps some with extremely vulgar words. Just ignore them. Nothing great about those remarks, it won't hurt you anyway.

    I have an Asian blood running in my veins.

    But when I joined DP, I had no iota of intention of joining a beauty pageant, so I did not upload my most controversial pictures.

    I just hope that our comrades here would be moderate and gentle enough on dealing with the ugliness of one's avatar.
