I seem to remember seeing somewhere that if Google reports link backs to your site using link:www.mysite.com then you are out of the sandbox, is this correct? Because I've just noticed it's reporting links now - http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.videogame-news.com&btnG=Search&hl=en If I change my CMS software and end up losing my content, will that put me back in it?
Not sure why u went in a Sandbox . But not sure how google works , i think it does mean ur not in google sandbox. But i always thought sandbox for google meant unable to rank well for ur keywords..
if you believe in the sandbox (not sure if its still argued about these days?), then you can be in it and have links, you can also have pr and be in it.
Well I turned up on the SERP for specific terms. It's just that I remember getting no links showing when searching links:mysite.com before. It seems all my sites are reporting links using that method now though so maybe I'm not.
Once you are out you are out. As long as the theme and contect stay the same you will be fine, Keywords are sandboxed not sites remember. But if you change the page title or have deeplinks to keyword title pages then you will drop. Do not alter these
