Am I out of sandbox?

Google returns my homepage if search ‘info: http: //www.mysite.com/’ or ‘my site name’.
Am I out of so called ‘Snadbox’?

How do you exactly know you are out of 'Snadbox' if it does exist?

I think if any of your keywords show up in Google in the first few pages then you're out of the sandbox!

The sandbox is a filter that stops you doing well in the serps for certain competitive search terms.

It does not apply for every term and you can't be sandboxed for your own site name.

mad4 is correct. The sandbox filter applies to competitive keywords. Ranking well for a keyword that isn't searched for doesn't apply. When you start ranking high for a competitive keyword, then you know you are out of the sandbox.

The sandbox doesn't mean you can't rank well for any term, it means that your backlinks aren't factored in when calculating SERPS. Backlinks show, pass PR, just aren't used when rankings are figured. Google's Matt Cutt's has confirmed what many have known for a long time - google does have a filter that applies to certain keywords.

Just because you don't rank well for a term it doesn't mean you are in the sandbox. Competitive keywords have thousands of people trying for a top ranking and many times it is a situation where you aren't ranking well because you don't have enough relevant backlinks for the keyword. If your site is less than 3 months old, you are almost certainly in the sandbox.

    What is Sandbox really then?
When Google doesn’t index your pages or when you site does not perform well against a particular keyword?
I guess everyone has their own definition of ‘Sandbox’.

The sandbox has nothing to do with the indexing your site. The original use of "Sandbox" was talking about your backlinks not being used when calculating rankings. Many people have since used the term to mean they aren't ranking well for a keyword.

But thats what Sandbox is , New sites get into Google sandbox and have to wait a certain amount of time to get time , this depends on the keyword , how much it is competitive.
