I own a fairly new site and it isn't doing so bad, I make $1+ adsence a day with very little traffic compared to other peoples figures. My site also make some affiliate sales with very little traffic as you can tell by now my trouble is the lack of traffic. I have done quite a few things on this forum but still i lack traffic. I have tried forum posting and that probably sends in most of my traffic. I have tried yahoo answers which brings very little traffic. I have also tried digg and stumble upon but not much success. I have tried article marketing but it takes very long until related sites go through the submitting process, allot of my articles are still pending. I have also tried youtube, even though i was featured in a top category multiply i still had little traffic. I think one of my biggest down sides is lack of traffic from search engines as i have writers to write for my site, the articles are more reader friendly with quality content but not SE friendly. My question was do i keep on adding new content to my site and the traffic will eventually build up or should i do more work on submitting articles and waiting for the traffic boom. Do keyword research and start building relevant backlinks with your needed anchor text. More targeted visitors will increase your earnings. And yes, add content daily if you can, it will keep folks coming back.
As mentioned above, it's time you entered the promotion phase. You only have a couple of backlinks right now. Try to get some backlinks to help your Page Rank and at the same time make sure you are adding some long tail keywords to your content.
I would not even think about your page rank, it really doesn't have anything to do with the success of your site. Building up backlinks will help you get search engine traffic.
What can I say? The same thing I say to everyone who doesn't listen. Spend 12 hours submitting to 6,000 directories. You won't get nothing for 2 or 3 months, but after that you'll boost so high with your keywords that you won't be able to track where all of the traffic is comming from.
