I was playing at this casino and then I checked out the progressive blackjack game where you put one extra dollar along with your bet and then if you win with an ace you get 5x your bet! I even went to the live chat support to confirm that because according to my calculations this will give you a HUGE edge... My calculations: My bet $300. If I win with an ace I win $1500 and if I loose, I loose $301 ($300 + $1)... My chances if winning with an ace are: (4/52 * 0.47) * $1500 = $54.23 where 4/52 are chances of getting an ace and 0.47 (roughly) are chances of winning the hand and $1500 is the amount that I will win My chances of winning (without the ace): 0.47 * $300 = $141 My chances of loosing: 0.53 * $301 = $159.53 So for every hand I will win $195.23 and will loose $159.53.... so on average I will win $35.7 on every hand.... Does that make any sense to anyone!?!?!?!?
