I was looking at my adsense for yesterday it said I had 1000 impressions. Now if I go to my website stats, it shows that I had 2400 visitors? Maybe Im missing something?

Is Adsense on every single page of your website (including member control panel pages, member pages, login page, terms of service page, etc.). Adsense TOS states that your adsense should not be on the mentioned pages, therefore either you do not have adsense on these pages or adsense are not counting these pages for this reason. Additionally, your website stats more than likely counts all impressions, Adsense will only count unique impressions. Hope this helps.

Okay, then it must be the actual pageviews vs. the unique pageviews. Adsense is only counting the unique impressions, but AWSTATS captures all accounts of impressions, including refreshed pages. Unique pageviews is different than the actual number of pageviews and will always be an lower number, because unique pageviews are only counted one time per session from each IP/host, while actual pageviews are sometimes accumulated multiple times from the same IP/host.

Not sure what else to tell you except take it up with the Adsense folks, because it sounds to me that you do not have Adsense on every page or if you do then you are displaying Adsense default ads on most (which are not counted) and not advertiser ads.

Adsense default ads will be shown when no other ads are available for display, either the content does not have any matches, the page is new/un-spidered, or Adsense just doesn't deliver any money-making ads because of faulty script or infrequent error. Make sure your pages are optimized for Adsense ads. Does your AWSTATS tell you what robots have visited your site?? Do you see the Google Adsense Robot?? Find out if all your pages are getting indexed, this should help determine if Adsense know if all your pages exist. Hope this helps!
