Ok, so like a week ago i came up with a good niche and project for a site, so off the top of my mind the domain LiveMonaco.com is available, so i register it and make the site. Today i just searched google and to my surprise, apparantly back in 2001 the domain was for sale for $90,000 http://www.digitaldomainz.com/auction/showdomains.asp?letter=l Scroll down a bit and you should see it. Were the previous owners mad or is it that good?
It’s a pretty good name but just because a domain name is for sale with an asking price doesn’t mean it’s worth that price. I once bought a domain name at an auction for $2.60 that had previously been listed on Greatdomains.com for $50,000. Best wishes, Kimmy
A domains value is only as high as someone is willing to pay for it, not someone willing to sell it for. Domaining industry is a buyers market, not a sellers one
Yeah, you might be able to get a nice $$ for it if the original people want it back. Try to get the name back out there.
Very interesting...everyday new domain appears and old domain dropped.. Recently, I registered a domain www.thenextlink.com can be back to 1998...
