I'm confused. In the FAQ it states that the customer has to buy through ClickBank for me to receive the commission, and yet I'm finding vendors in the Marketplace who are using another shopping cart. Here is an example. I'm not trying to make a sale here! Just take a look at the steps. 1) Customer clicks my hoplink - http://bigunicorn.valkor.hop.clickbank.net/ 2) The site resolves to - http://www.valkorsgoldmakingguide.com/ 3) Yet if you click any of the methods to purchase the item, you get this - https://myaccount.spugnort.com/checkout/checkout.aspx Am I going to get a commission for this sale? As you can probably tell, I am fairly new to this and this is troubling to me. Please put my mind at ease, or tell me to run away from this vendor. Thanks! ~bigunicorn
I noticed a few things about the page you mentioned in step 3: It does show your affiliate ID at the bottom. It does say that the sale will be processed by ClickBank. It does not ask for billing information. I didn't go as far as filling out that page, but I think it's fine. I think it's simply a pre-registration page and that once the customer has registered, the next page they see will be the ClickBank order form. That being said, there have been some publishers on CB who do truly offer alternate payment methods. This was especially common before CB started accepting PayPal. In those cases, the affiliate was screwed. But this one looks as if it's probably okay to me. If you want to be sure, fill out the registration page and see what happens next. I hope this helps.
hello, when you click on the payment link, if it leads you to clickbank order form, you should get commission. Some vendors have other payment options like 2checkout, postal order, telephone order etc.. if visitors pay by such options, you will not get commission.
